My Career Experience: A New Chapter, A New Me

The Beginning of Something New

I still remember the date — 20th March 2024 — when I officially stepped into the corporate world. It was my first job as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture. Fresh out of college, with zero real-world experience and a heart full of excitement (and anxiety!), I was all set to begin a completely new chapter of my life.

Everything around me was new — the office, the city, the people, the food, even the air felt different. I was nervous but equally excited. The welcome session was amazing — lots of smiles, fun ice-breakers, and a sense of belonging that settled some of those first-day jitters.

Adjusting to the Unknown

Moving to a new city wasn’t easy. One of the biggest initial challenges was finding a PG and settling into an unfamiliar place. Figuring out how to manage daily tasks like laundry, cooking (or let's be honest, ordering food!), and just adulting in general after work hours was overwhelming at first.

But slowly, I started adapting. I realized I was growing — not just professionally but personally too. I started doing things on my own that I’d never done before. Small wins like setting up my room, getting groceries, or managing my time better — all started adding up. Looking back, I’m proud of those small things.

My First Project & Unexpected Wins

One of the most exciting moments for me was getting my first project — in SAP ABAP. Diving into real work, learning new things, collaborating with the team — it was all challenging but super rewarding.

But work wasn’t the only place I had victories. I actually won the chess tournament in the office! Secured the first position, and it honestly felt amazing. Even in the cricket tournament, our team ended up winning. These moments helped me connect with people, and reminded me that there’s more to office life than just meetings and deadlines.

What I’ve Learned So Far

This journey, though still in its early stages, has taught me a lot. If there’s one thing I’ve truly learned, it’s this:
Life is all about experiences.
Whether good or challenging, every experience teaches you something. Every new beginning shapes you a little more.

Some Honest Advice

To anyone who’s just starting out — trust me, it’s okay to feel lost at first. It’s okay to struggle with change. Just don’t stop trying. Keep pushing yourself, try new things, and build a mindset that says, “I’ll figure it out.”

The growth happens when you’re slightly uncomfortable. So stay curious, and don’t be afraid of new beginnings.

Looking Ahead

Right now, I’m looking forward to the next step in my career. I want to explore more opportunities, grow professionally, and keep learning new things. I believe growth is a continuous process — there’s always room to learn and improve.

Wrapping Up

From day one at Accenture to where I am today, it’s been a ride full of ups and downs, wins and lessons — and I wouldn’t change a thing. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for everything that’s yet to come.

Thanks for reading my story. :)

From Skinny Me to the Aesthetic Me - Five Years of Grinding and Growing!

 Hey everyone!

It's been a minute since I properly chatted about my fitness journey, and as I hit this crazy 4-5

year milestone, I just had to share where I'm at. Honestly, when I look back at pictures from way

back when, I was a totally different person – super slim, you know? Fast forward to today, and

man, am I proud of the aesthetic physique I've sculpted. It’s not just about how it looks,

though; it’s about feeling strong, healthy, and just… good in my own skin.

My Gym Life: Push, Pull, Legs & Those Endless Steps!

So, what's been my secret sauce? Consistency, mostly! My gym routine has pretty much

revolved around the push-pull-legs split. It’s brilliant because it hits every muscle group

perfectly, keeping things balanced and helping me grow steadily. But it's not all about lifting

heavy; I'm also super committed to my cardio. That's where my daily 12,000 steps come in. It’s

my non-negotiable for keeping my heart healthy and staying lean.

And let's be real, you can't out-train a bad diet. Eating healthy has been just as crucial. It's the

fuel that gets me through tough workouts and helps my body recover and build.

The Hustle Is Real: Finding Time Amidst the Chaos

Okay, full disclosure: it hasn't always been smooth sailing. Life gets crazy, right? With a hectic

office schedule and all the other stuff that pops up, sometimes finding time for the gym feels

like a mission impossible. There are days when I'm just drained. But I’ve learned to really

prioritize it. Whether it means an earlier alarm, or just being super focused during my workout, I

always find a way. It’s about showing up, even when you really don't feel like it. That consistency

is gold.

What's Next? Just Keep Building (and Stepping!)

My main focus right now is simply to maintain this aesthetic physique. It’s not about

constantly chasing new PBs or shedding pounds; it’s about sustaining the strength and

definition I’ve worked so hard for. And yep, those 12,000 daily steps for cardio are still firmly

on the agenda!

More Than Just Muscles: The Mind-Body Connection

Honestly, while the physical changes are awesome, the biggest wins from this journey have

been things you can't even see. This whole fitness thing has given me a ridiculous boost in

confidence. Seriously, I feel so much more comfortable and self-assured when I'm talking to

people, which has genuinely improved my social life. And perhaps the best part? I feel

mentally so good. The gym has become my escape, my therapy, my place to just clear my

head and recharge. It's living proof that fitness isn’t just about looking good, but feeling incredible, from

 the inside out.

So, if you’re out there wondering whether to start your own journey, or if you're already on it and

hitting a wall, just remember: consistency is your superpower. Show up, put in the work, fuel

your body right, and trust the process. It truly changes everything.
